Shark sighting off Rodeo Beach in Marin County has resulted in that beach’s temporary closure. Note the reference to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area’s policy on closures for routine shark sightings. We’ve come a long way from Roy Schieder screaming on the beach of Amity Island.
