Cause and Effect

Interesting article in the Ventura County Recorder. It’s not that local leash laws are now, they’re just finally being enforced. A tragic death last December led to the creation of three new lifeguard towers in Pierpont, and along with their traditional duties these lifeguards are enforcing local leash laws, to the dismay of local dog owners.

Getting the better view: The little plane made several passes, each lower than the previous, apparantly enjoying the crystal-clear morning view.  The break is Black's Beach, south of the Gliderport, and Scripps Pier is in the background.
