November 15, 2006 - One got through, kindaApparantly we missed that Congressman Duncan Hunter’s efforts to turn part of Santa Rosa Island into a semi-private hunting preserve had been inserted into a budget bill and passed last month. At least we weren’t the only ones: yesterday the Senate passed legislation to repeal the law, and even the veterans group that supported the original plan have withdrawn their support. > Posted by Chuck at 7:11 am.
