Turtle Eggs, Sex and Flirty Ads, Fixings of a Mexican Stew. New York Times article by James C. McKinley discusses efforts to protect a species of sea turtle on Mexico’s Pacific Coast in the face of widespread poaching due to the belief that the turtle’s eggs are aphrodisiacs.
